I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! After doing tons of research and calling many facilities in both the USA and Canada, I knew Muskoka Recovery was the place for me. Especially after such a lovely first call with Christine. I flew in from Dallas TX, and from the minute we were picked up in Toronto and got to the Centre, everyone made me feel so welcome and at home from the beginning to end. Muskoka has such a sense of family and togetherness that is unparalleled to anything I’ve ever experienced. I went into the centre feeling lost and helpless and with the help of the amazing staff I learnt so much about myself, addiction and how to deal with it. I truly believe this place and the people that work there saved my life. I will forever be grateful for my two months at Muskoka Recovery. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is struggling and looking to change their life for the better!

A family member just returned from a 30 day treatment plan for addiction. We are so grateful for the changes we see thus far. This facility/staff is extremely professional, but still radiates a beautiful family vibe. Our family member came home much happier, healthier, (apparently they have the best Chef ever!) optimistic, and eager to take the next step to a build themselves a better life. The support does not stop there, treatment will be continued via zoom and they are always a phone call away. We are so grateful for everybody at Muskoka Recovery!

I would recommend MR to anyone who is ready to take the next step in their recovery journey. As soon as I arrived I felt a sense of security and comfort. Beautiful facilities, healthy food, and incredible staff. The staff in particular made the biggest difference for me. From day 1 to day 30 it was evident that this place was special. They care deeply and want to help change our life for the better. When we were not in group or 1-1 sessions, the owners put in their personal time and resources to ensure there were things for us to do. A swim in the new pool, boat ride, fishing, hikes, personal trainer, massage therapist are just some of the examples of ways that help us focus on self-care. Deciding to come to MR was not an easy step for me. Leaving it at the end of my stay was also hard. I did not want to leave the safe space and warm people I began to think of as family. I look forward to continuing with the aftercare program and stopping by for a visit in the future.
